Supper Sisters Inaugural Post

How This All Works

We are very excited that you have decided to read our blog but I am sure you are wondering, how does this whole thing work?

Well, we, the Supper Sisters, live far away from each other with one being in Philadelphia and the other in Boston.   What we wanted to do was recreate our Sunday dinners by trying a different recipe each week and cooking in conjunction albeit several hundred miles apart.

One sister will post a recipe by Thursday in order to give you time to get ingredients and customize it to your family's like and dislikes.  Sunday, we cook!  Then, on the following Tuesday, you get to see how we fared in the kitchen.  We will give you feedback of our main troubles, what we liked the most, and what we would change the next time around.   We would also like your feedback!  What did you change: is your a family vegan and you adapted the meal to that; did you convert it to a quick weeknight meal, etc.  All comments are welcome.

We look forward to welcoming you into our kitchen and being a part of yours!!

  1. Love this idea! What a fun way to get new recipes and ideas for Sunday dinner. I can't wait to try the Pasta Bolognese this weekend. I am going to forward the email to Meg. Thanks for sharing! :-)
